There are days like this when you really, really, really, really, really want to have fun. So one fine morning, I made the decision to buy  myself suddenly, not 1 but 2 cosmetic beauty products from major brands!

I had been in the habit for several years of being satisfied with mascaras bought in supermarkets. The quality was rather average but I was satisfied with it, until I came across a post on a beauty blog vilifying the latest novelty from Bourjois , the Coup de Théâtre mascara . And, among the comments left following this article, a "reader" wrote that nothing beats the quality of renowned brands.I remembered it and, tired of fighting almost every day with my various mascaras, I decided to take the step by making a good acquisition, even if it means setting the price. So I was looking for, for my first favorite purchase, a mascara capable of lengthening my eyelashes , without making packages . A very friendly and very professional seller of Marionnaud told me about the merits of Yves Saint Laurent mascaras . But as a lens wearer, the Waterproof being strictly prohibited, the salesperson directed me to Everlong Mascara (black shade) by Yves Saint Laurent . The packaging is an original mixture of bling bling (golden color) and classicism of the prestigious brand. I only thought about half a second before buying this product.

Yves Saint Laurent Everlong Mascara , Longening Mascara, 23.50 euros, On sale in perfumeries and department stores. Verdict : Satisfied to the tips of the lashes! The results are incredible. My eyelashes are thin and extremely elongated (it gives me doe eyes). The look is intensified and highlighted. Mascara doesn't pack. Thanks to an ergonomic brush, revolutionary to say the least, made up of rows of small combs placed opposite, the eyelashes are well separated . However, I find that the mascara tends to dry a little too quickly after the first pass.

For who ?

For my second favorite purchase of the day, I wanted a transparent gloss (to change it a little) with integrated brush because, applying the gloss on my finger in the street, the metro or in the restaurant weighed me down a bit. I needed an excellent gloss (exit the Bourgeois and L'Oréal brands which are not really worth it), which looks good on the lips and which highlights them with simplicity. I chose (a bit at random among all the excellent brands that were offered to me)the Ultra Gloss Reflect by Dior Addict presented in a very stylish and very elegant rectangular bottle struck with the CD jump (I LOVE) .

Verdict.

Still satisfied across the board. The transparent gloss, with a more sticky texture than normal, instantly enhances the mouth (the shine is ultra-reflective  : it's quite prodigious). The flashy effect gradually fades to make way for lips still luscious and shiny as desired. So to the naked eye, one can observe that the gloss plumps , shapely , coats and gorgeous lips! But also, it hydrates them harmoniously and, lasts for hours (until one susties). In addition, the applicator brush is extremely practical because it follows the lips and their contours.

For who ?

Ultra Gloss Reflect gives volume to thin lips . But, those who have a little fleshier mouth (like mine) can also use it. For the latter, no need to put more gloss than necessary (I have experienced it)!
