MAKARI LIGHTENING BEAUTY PRODUCTS

DARK, MIXED OR BLACK SKIN

Warning: In this post, there is no question of whitening or depigmentation of the skin.

You are aware that black skin stains very easily . Because melanin disperses into the most superficial layers of black skin, the slightest pimple of acne, friction, itching or scar, causes an increase in skin color and therefore, the appearance of spots very often unsightly. I then wondered if there were non-corrosive cosmetic products for the skin that existed on the French market. This is how I did a bit of research on the Internet (blogs, sites and forums). My choice finally fell on the Swiss brand Makari . Why is that ? Because I was able to have real advice of uses from its CEO, Mr. Maurice Bertrand in person, who at no time did not give me an angelic speech on the increased effectiveness of its products compared to other brands. Excerpt from an email exchange: The Makari range from Switzerland, one of the undisputed leaders of the "high-end" market, is able to respond positively to (almost) all skin problems of women (and men!) black and mixed. I said "almost all the problems", because unfortunately the scar spots are very difficult to remove ,because they have, over the years, become fibrous (more or less depending on the case) and that, consequently, cosmetic products, whatever they are, do not cross this barrier which prohibits reaching and attacking the  melanocytes ... 

In addition, it graciously gave a sampling of some of the products Makari test.                                                                                                                        

What about the Makari brand?

Created in 2000, Makari is positioned as a high-end brand of care and beauty products for dark, mixed and black skin. It contains: adult care products(eye contour gel, lifting body veil, peel-off mask, hand and body lotion, ultra-hydrating cream based on argan oil and shea butter I really appreciate it for its light and fragrant texture…) and for babies (shampoo with sweet almond oil, foaming gel for body and hair…); products from makeup (compact or liquid foundation, loose fixing powder, mascara, eyeliner ... a lipstick that I gave to test: it is unique, unctuous, protective, dark in color; does not dry out and makes very pretty lips , holds all day long - even after eating - ...), eau de parfum and accessories .

Without forgetting a whole battery of lightening products such as: lightening beauty milk, repairing lightening serum, day and night lightening creams, food supplements, soaps ...

Focus on THE lightening component of Makari.

The Végéclairine is the brand that has been filed by Makariand, which is the main lightening ingredient.  It comes from the roots of the white mulberry tree, a tree that grows in many countries, especially in Asia.

Some warnings:

Makari lightening products should not be used lightly.

1. It is of course strongly advised not to mix any Makari lightening product  with toxic substances   of types  : bleach, mercury derivatives, cortisone creams or worse, hydroquinone because, you will damage the skin of definitively.

2. Do not use a lightening product more than twice a day, except for lightening soap.

3. There is a specific product for each area of the skin. For example, do not use lightening beauty milk for your face.

4. If you have an allergy , do a test on a small area of your skin.

5. If you use the products for a very long time, after a few months, the skin should be left to sit for several weeks.

Follow these few rules and you will have no worries.

My test: unify my elbows with the clarifying cream for hands, feet, elbows.

However, I remain cautious when taking the test on the right elbow. I am also careful to compare the results between the 2 elbows.

My feelings.

The cream is velvety, light, fragrant and penetrates quickly with gentle massages. However, it hydrates moderately and, I find it insufficiently nourishing.

Use and results after 3 weeks.

The cream is used twice a day (morning and evening), so far, nothing too restrictive. I soon noticed that my elbows were getting smoother. I also noticed, after 20 days, a clearing up of this area. It is not phenomenal but, the results are there and the difference is visible.

FINAL VERDICT ABOUT THE BEAUTY PRODUCT

In general, I am on my guard with lightening products. The facial area is quite delicate and in my opinion, using products adapted to your skin is the best solution for having a beautiful complexion ( Makari also offers some). I say yes to "lightening-unifying" creams for small areas (neck, knees, elbows) but I tend to brake four irons for the face. In any case,the Makari cream for hands, feet, elbows worked well on my elbows . But, this is only the beginning because, the unification is not total. One tube will not suffice. I will do a little point here a few weeks. The prices of lightening products are a tad high, hence the interest in testing a product before considering investing in the purchase of a (semi) complete range.
