AVÈNE'S DEFI SYSTEM FOR THE MOST FRAGILE SKIN!

                                                                                                         

Avène Dermatological Laboratories presented world exclusive first aid to benefit from the DEFI system with the Tolerance Extreme range which includes  : a soothing cream for the face and a cleansing milk without rinsing. Thanks to Valérie, I was able to test these 2 products. But what exactly does the DEFI system mean?

Already in 1996, the Avène Dermatological Laboratories successfully met a first challenge in the world of dermo-cosmetics: achieving a safe and pure range  :

Extreme Tolerance based on the ETS (Extreme Tolerance System) concept .

It guarantees care without preservatives, perfumes and surfactants. As for the unique and patented system DEFI (Exclusive Device Intact Formula), always developed on the initiative of Laboratoires Avène, it allows to keep a sterile formula absolutely intact , protected from any germ during the duration of the treatment thanks to a unique closure process which allows the product to leave but which prevents bacteria from entering and, when packaged upstream, in a sterile environment. This is the great Avene innovation of this fall. And, this is only happiness for sensitive, reactive and allergic skin! Say, I checked.

The Soothing, anti-irritant cream is aptly named.

Only the mention hydrating is missing. This cream proved to be very suitable for me after a peel. I used it 5 days after an institute peel (I should have done it the next day) and I immediately felt an enormous good, a feeling of comfort , hydration, soothing and softness of my originally sensitive skin but above all, extremely weakened by this intense exfoliation practice. The small boost and freshness effecton application (face + neck) is frankly pleasant. I also have a weakness for the opening and closing system of the product with a flexible membrane that lifts gently as soon as there is pressure on the tube, to come back in place when the pressure is released. It looks like projected into the XXIII century! The real plus is that the product does not overflow the tube (it is hygienic ) and that we can quantify the dose. Be careful not to have too heavy a hand!

For who?

The cream is suitable for sensitive, hypersensitive and allergic skin which does not tolerate any irritant or agent likely to facilitate the penetration of allergens. It is perfect for skin which has undergone medical procedures (such as laser or peeling) and which needs hydration. The Tolerance Extreme cream is also indicated for the skins which are subjected to acute manifestations of irritation of the type: redness, tightness, tingling ... In general, this cream can be used by consumers looking for a reliable product and " secure"  !

My opinion about the beauty product.

I add that the Tolerance Extreme  cream can be used either winter or summer. It is absolutely not greasy, penetrates instantly and the hydration is just perfect (neither too much nor not enough) during these periods at diametrically opposite temperatures. As for the price , it remains very reasonable for such innovations and performances.

The cleansing milk without rinsing, just like its sister cream, has a flexible and skilful membrane . I used the Cleansing Milkat the end of the day (I had foundation, mascara, gloss and blush ... almost total!) but, I had to fight, get my hands dirty to be able to be completely and perfectly cleansed. The mascara was not completely removed either. This is why I advise rather to apply milk in the morning, when the skin has already been removed the day before, or in the evening if you do not make up or very little. As indicated in the instructions, I spread the milk on my face (which penetrates very easily) then, I massage gently with the fingertips by making light circular movements. Then using a cotton pad, I wipe everything without rubbing, then I finish with a fogger (but not stuck with Avène Thermal Spring Water ... sorry  ). The skin is cleansed , non-irritated, clean and prepared to receive the Tolérance Extrême cream . I salute the effectiveness of this milk!

For who?

Like the cream, the Extreme Tolerance Cleansing Milk is mainly intended for sensitive, hypersensitive and allergic skin, women  who can not stand classic cosmetics anymore and who have skin allergies. In short, the skins as well as the most demanding demands (of consumers) are targeted.

My opinion about cleansing milk as beauty product.

I take pleasure in using the Cleansing Milk in the morning (1 in 2 times because I also appreciate the feeling of water on my face early in the morning, to wake up).

With only 6 ingredients in the Cleansing Milk and 9 in the Cream , Tolérance Extrême offers ultra-safe formulas focused on the essentials.

We therefore find: -

Avène thermal spring water, naturally soothing and anti-irritant

- Glycerin codex, hydrating and emollient

- Paraffin codex, Cyclomethicone and Safflower Oil; all three emollients

-The Squalane which restores the skin barrier

-The texturing agents allow them to obtain the viscosity necessary for mixing the phases in the peudo-emulsions
